Children’s Health has expanded the Plano Campus to include a four-story, 205,000-square-foot Ambulatory Care Pavilion known as Specialty Center II. This building continues Children’s mission to “Make Life Better for Children” through the advancement of additional clinics and physician practices.

Children’s Health has partnered with the Andrews Institute to create a premier pediatric Sports Medicine Health and Wellness Complex for North Texas. Located on the first two floors are Athletic Performance Training Facilities, Physical Therapy, Outpatient Imaging and a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center, along with Pediatric Orthopaedic Clinics. In addition,
the top two floors are reserved for additional pediatric sub-specialty practices.

This project also provides an outdoor athletic performance training playing field and an attached, structured parking garage for convenient access. In order to deliver this project, an Integrated Project Delivery Methodology was established to bring all of the key stakeholders together in a budget conscious, team focused, lean delivery process with health and wellness for each patient and their family in mind. Our team covenant established that: “We maintain one identity in an open and honest environment, adding value, embracing unconventional thinking and continuously celebrating inspiring results”.
