As the first of its kind in the nation, the Major General William H. Gourley Outpatient Clinic serves approximately 80,000 active duty service members, veterans and their beneficiaries with primary and specialty care in Marina, CA. The building’s design and campus organization offers patients easy and swift access to quality care through evidence-based medicine, and ensures safety through a team oriented approach to patient care.

The 3-story, 150,000 square foot Clinic supplies a complete range of services including primary care, pediatric, specialty ambulatory clinics, eye car, indoor-outdoor physical therapy suite, audiology, speech pathology suites, a mental health center, imagery and laboratory services. The Clinic also provides conference and group therapy spaces, a large cafeteria, outdoor eating space and an accessible landscape for patients and staff. The facility features the VA’s Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) design which supports a veteran – centric model of care. PACT’s team-based design promotes collaboration in a flexible and adaptable concept.
